What she does, how set-up works, what it costs and what happens to your calls. Anything else, ring us.
An AI receptionist. She answers your business calls in your business name, takes the caller’s details and the job, and texts it to you. Urgent calls and complaints reach you straight away, at any hour.
Yes. Sophie starts every call with: “Hi, you’re through to [your business], this is Sophie, the AI receptionist. Calls are recorded. How can I help?” We won’t take that out.
Sophie answers while you work. Urgent calls reach you straight away; everything else is in your 6pm summary, ready to ring back. See an example day.
A summary of the day’s calls at 6pm, every day: who rang, what they want and when they’d like a call back. Urgent calls and complaints will already have reached you.
No. Everything’s in one app on your phone: job cards, texts and alerts. We set it up and test it with you.
Any trade that misses calls while on the tools: plumbers, heating engineers, electricians, builders, roofers and more. We set her up with your services, the areas you cover and what counts as urgent in your trade.
On Mid and Top she takes booking requests, and you approve every slot so travel between jobs works. She never confirms a booking herself. On Base she takes the details and when to ring the caller back.
Quote prices, answer technical questions or give advice. She speaks English only, and answers only from the information you approve.
Sophie isn’t an emergency service, and anyone in danger should ring 999. Urgent calls come straight to your phone, at any hour, by text and app alert.
She can mishear, like anyone on a bad line. Every call has a recording and a written summary in your app, so you can check the details before you ring back.
Yes. Sophie has her own number, registered in your business’s name. You divert your business number to her and can switch it off whenever you like. We set it up and test it with you.
Not while the divert is on: every call goes to Sophie first. Turn the divert off when you want to take calls yourself. On some networks we set it up so calls you don’t answer, or can’t take, go to her instead.
We aim to have Sophie live about 5 working days after you send back the intake form. Her number needs approving, with ID checks in your business’s name, and that sets the pace, so the date isn’t guaranteed.
Not from us. Your network may charge for diverted calls, usually as a call from your allowance. We’ll tell you what to check.
Yes. As many small changes as you need (greeting, answers, hours) in the first fortnight after she goes live, then two small requests a month. Bigger work is quoted first.
Base £197, Mid £297, Top £397 a month, plus VAT. Every plan includes 450 minutes with Sophie a month, then 25p a minute. No separate usage bills: we pay for the phone line, texts and AI. See what each plan does.
On the 3-month minimum term, the £197 onboarding fee is waived: you pay three monthly fees, then it’s month to month with one month’s notice. Without the minimum term, the onboarding fee is paid when you sign.
You set up a Direct Debit when you sign. The first monthly fee is taken when Sophie goes live, then monthly.
The first five firms to sign get their price fixed for 12 months, and can cancel free within 30 days of Sophie going live. We refund the first month’s fee and any onboarding fee.
Move up any time, from your next billing date. Move down once your minimum term is over.
Yes. Refer another firm and you both get a month free once they go live.
In your own app. Every call gets a job card with a note of what was said, and you get a summary of the day’s calls at 6pm.
You do. Your customers’ details and your call records are yours, and we use them only to run the service. If you leave, we give you an export. Our privacy notice has the details.
We fix her by the next working day and, between 8am and 8pm, text you how to send calls back to your own phone in the meantime. Support is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a reply within one working day.
Leave your details and we’ll ring you back. Or ring us now.
